Финансируемый ЕС конкурс в Грузии поддерживает борьбу с сексуальным домогательством

17 февраля 2020

The project ‘EU Supporting the Inter-Agency Commission on Gender Equality’ and Radio Liberty announced a three-minute film contest on the topic of sexual harassment. The competition is open to professional and amateur filmmakers of all ages, living in Georgia.

The purpose of the competition is to increase society’s support in fighting sexual harassment through creating and distributing conceptual creative material. The film contest aims to raise awareness in the media, social networks, and the public about the root causes of sexual harassment, the challenges faced by victims and ways to overcome them.

The deadline for contest entries is 13 March 2020. More information on eligibility criteria and how to apply can be found here.

With this contest, the organisers want to demonstrate their support for the effective implementation of a national campaign against sexual harassment.

The contest contributes to the overall goal of the EU-funded project to support the executive, legislative and judicial authorities of Georgia to effectively implement gender mainstreaming in public administration.
